One of the most Physically dominant and solid blockers you will find is Norman North High School’s Jake Roberts. Not only can he flay lay you out, but Jake can catch the ball very well also. He is Mr. Versatile.
Standing 6-4, 225 Roberts has that ideal size for a college TE and has the frame to bulk up even more at the next level. One of the best in the state at TE, look for big things in the future from Jake Roberts.
Six Star —Describe your season and, how do you feel you played overall for 2018?
Jake —Overall the record is not what we wanted as a team, but we kept working and got better as the season went on. I feel like my individual season was solid, there are always things to work on and improve…I am ready to work and prepare for next season.
Six Star —Who has been the most influential person in your football life so far?
Jake —I’d say my parents have always been very big influences in how I approach the game, they are also the ones that got me into the game.
Six Star —Tell us about your summer, camps, combines, visits, etc. Tell us about the experience and what you were able to take away from it, what camps you attended?
Jake —I attended camps at Tulsa, OSU, UCO, Central Michigan, and North Texas. Had the opportunity at each to meet Coaches and Players from different places. I think going to camps provides me with greater perspective on what I am working for at the next level, and who I am competing with to get there…it motivates me.
Six Star —Most people don’t know this about me but I:
Jake —Enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing, the lake etc.
Six Star —Pre Game Ritual
